Diskomo was originally a online record label, set to release music by it’s owner. There were never any real releases, only a few songs that were available online. A few songs with The Funmachine were available on the old Diskomo website (and can still be found somewhere online). Other projects that didn’t do much were Popular Sports, Bad Plastic Surgeries og Pedro Orange. There was also a division of Diskomo in Sweden around a few experimental bands there. Diskomo’s 15 minutes of fame came when Icelandic newspaper DV mention it in an article about online record companies (the Diskomo logo was even pictured with the article). There was a big celebration.
Now is Diskomo back as a mp3-blog and here will frequently appear interesting and exhilarating mp3′s from around the world and beyond.
